ASHO Cold Shoe Adapter With 1/4-20 Threaded Screw

This small adapter is designed for items that might mount on top of a camera style hot-shoe that you would rather mount on top of your Lumedyne Head. A Pocket Wizard™ or other brand of radio slave is a good example of what might be mounted in this shoe. It does not transmit the sync signals all the appropriate sync cords are still used, it's just a solid mounting point.

ASHO Cold Shoe Adapter can be screwed onto the extra ¼-20 threaded mount on a Signature Head or Extra Small Head so that you can place a shoe mounted device there near the Head, (most likely a radio slave).
There is no sync connection for the shoe, so your normal sync cords will still need to be used. The sync still plugs in like normal, so the ASHO shoe is just to hold the slave or other accessory in place.
The screw and adapter are metal, so a small piece of tape is all that’s needed on top of the screw (once it’s in place), just in case your slave has a hot shoe that could short out on the adapter and cause a false-fire or misfire.

It has a 1/4-20 threaded mount to use directly on the lightstand or with a swivel so even large square and rectangular softboxes can be used. The Flash Head is hanging onto the rear at the reflector mount but without any leverage or weight on it.
