Lumedyne is location lighting and portable professional flash equipment.
We offer Cyclers and the X to power other brands of flashes. And, we have a modular flash system that has a proven track record of being a highly reliable source of light for professional photographers for over 45 years.
To build a full flash system, you wil need a Power Pack, a Flash Head, a Battery and a Charger. Some added cables and accessories might be a great addition and you need to trigger the system with a radio or light slave or a sync cord.
We have photographers on staff to answer your questions, so give us a call and let us help you create your own perfect lighting solution for on location.
The name says it all, except that there is a Sharpie™ marker included if you want to make permanent notes on this flat and writable tape measure that also works with a pencil for temporary notes.
If you measure the light output at a given distance before your client is in front of you, then later when you are really shooting, it's easy to always get the exact right exposure without a lot of light-meter readings and extra flashes at your subject.
This is a simple addition to a bracket when you want to be able to aim the Head up and down. There are two adjustable disks that allow you to set the ending angle in each direction. Some set screws allow you to adjust the range of movement and it is designed to bolt onto 1/4-20 holes or use the nuts and bolts.
This is the normal replacement bulb for the glowing modeling light in the center of the Lumedyne Modeling style Flashtubes. It is about 25 watts bright and does use your battery at a rate of one 200ws flash per 20 seconds of modeling light use.
It is user replaceable by simply first removing the flashtube then pulling the burned out bulb straight out. After carefully replacing the AMBR into its legs, the flashtube fits around it and plugs back into place.
This is the straight silver tube that you may remember from your Flash Head box when it was new. You can use it for flashtube protection or for a simple snoot to limit the light to a very small area.
This Belt Clip fits the Lumedyne HV Cyclers and many of the Classic Packs that had inserts for the use of one or two belt clips.
There are different hole spacings between the Classic Cyclers and Packs and the newest Cyclers so this belt clip has three holes to fit any of those products.
This durable cloth adapter with two D-rings is designed for supporting your two piece Lumedyne Cyclers and their attached Battery by a shoulder strap since those Cyclers did not include any shoulder strap D-rings.
The set of two switch caps include a red and white one for the top of the Lumedyne Power Packs.
Using the switch covers helps extend the lifespan of the switch by keeping dust and debris out of it.
The set of two red covers for the Head jacks are secured together by a short nylon line. There is enough length between them to also go through the D-ring and stay secured to the Power Pack.
These are similar to the individual covers that most people eventually lost that came standard on the Classic Packs or the ones attached to the front of the modern Packs.
This is one of two diffusors that simply snap onto the silver 5" reflectors that we have made for about 45 years. This version is the more clear diffusor that will lose only 1/3 of an f-stop as it slightly softens and diffuses the light going through it.
Some UV light is absorbed as well so the light is softer and warmer than when direct from the reflector.
