The AR12 is a 12 inch Beautydish reflector that has a center deflector that blocks the light coming directly from the flashtube. That creates a softer looking image without the normal specularity of a small flash.
In addition to being 12 inches across the front and thus more than four times bigger than the normal reflector, it also includes a cloth diffuser for an even softer look.
Lastly, a grid is included that snaps into the front of the reflector and limits the light output to less than 50 degrees.
The APPH uses the d-rings on the Power Packs to suspend the system off the ground onto the lightstand. While this is very convenient for moving around with the gear, it's also important to keep the weight low on the lightstand rather than to need additional sand bags or ballast.
The APPH can work with all generations and styles of Lumedyne Power Packs. By hanging the system it makes Battery changes easy as well.
This adapter connects Bowens™ S Mount style reflectors and accessories to the front of the Extra Small Flash Heads. The Signature Heads can also be adapted to use this mount by getting a new face plate.
It has a lock to hold the reflector in place and a 1/4-20 mount for the lightstand so that there is no added stress to the Flash Head regardless of the size of the light modifier used.
Use the ANEC when you want to make your own reflector or light modifier. This has the right size neck to fit the Lumedyne Heads and other brands too. It even has the notches to guide between the normal and wide angle flashtube positions.
The rear flange portion has four mounting holes to allow you to create a reflector from nearly any surface.
This is the high performance replacement bulb for the glowing modeling light in the center of the Lumedyne Modeling style Flashtubes. It is about 25 watts but is almost 50% brighter than a normal Halogen bulb. So for the same drain as our other AMBR bulb this one is a bit brighter. It does also use your battery at a rate of one 200ws flash per 20 seconds of modeling light use.
This AMBX bulb is also more durable against high temperature for extended use or high power flashes or rapid flashes where in all cases more than the normal heat is involved and a normal bulb would frost over white and fail due to overheating.
It is user replaceable by simply first removing the flashtube then pulling the burned out bulb straight out. After carefully replacing the AMBX into the Head's legs, the flashtube fits around it and plugs back into place.
