Lumedyne is location lighting and portable professional flash equipment.
We offer Cyclers and the X to power other brands of flashes. And, we have a modular flash system that has a proven track record of being a highly reliable source of light for professional photographers for over 45 years.
To build a full flash system, you wil need a Power Pack, a Flash Head, a Battery and a Charger. Some added cables and accessories might be a great addition and you need to trigger the system with a radio or light slave or a sync cord.
We have photographers on staff to answer your questions, so give us a call and let us help you create your own perfect lighting solution for on location.
The set of two switch caps include a red and white one for the top of the Lumedyne Power Packs.
Using the switch covers helps extend the lifespan of the switch by keeping dust and debris out of it.
This is a high quality Op/Tech shoulder strap designed for years of use with elastic and neoprene springs that engage in making it comfortable and feeling like there is less weight on your shoulder while you carry the Lumedyne Pack system around.
The BMHS Battery provides 150 flashes at 200ws with a Four Year pro-rate warranty. It uses a single deck of NiMh battery cells and is about 1.5 inches tall and weighs just over a pound and a half.
This high voltage Cycler attaches onto any of the Lumedyne Batteries which are sold separately. Photographers who need a lot of flashes per charge and want bigger batteries than what are built inside the single piece Cyclers will prefer these even though they are slightly larger, they do offer two HV output jacks so they can run two flashes even without needing a Y cable. These have a Low Battery Warning but no battery gauge. They indicate when they are recycling.
This small adapter is designed for items that might mount on top of a camera style hot-shoe that you would rather mount on top of your Lumedyne Head.
A Pocket Wizard™ or other brand of radio slave is a good example of what might be mounted in this shoe.
It does not transmit the sync signals all the appropriate sync cords are still used, it's just a solid mounting point.
The BMHM Battery provides 300 flashes at 200ws with a Four Year pro-rate warranty. It uses a double deck of NiMh battery cells and is about 2.2 inches tall and weighs less than three pounds.
The Dual Hyper Chargers are Hyper fast, international, charge two batteries at once (at full speed) and have a seven light battery gauge to see the power level of your batteries. They also have damage protection, bad battery indications and use UL/CE power supplies internally. They use interchangeable standard power supply cables and you pick which country's cable you want to start with: USA, UK, EU, AU.
Fast and powerful, these Chargers show you the condition of your batteries so you can better evaluate when there is a problem other than having trouble with your battery during a shoot.
Hyper Chargers are intended only for modern Batteries build or modified since 2002 with the new PEPI. These Batteries have a serial number higher than 149300 or you paid to modify it.
The P1NF is a low power solution for the modular Lumedyne system. Many existing Lumedyne Packs have the higher power settings from 50ws and higher, but this Pack offers the lower power settings of 3ws, 6ws, 12ws and 25ws.
This is a great addition to systems that already have the higher power settings with their older gear and this can be used at higher ISO settings when you are working indoors but you still want the Lumedyne quality of light. The Pack also has a battery gauge and works with all generations of Batteries, AC Supplies, Boosters and Speed Modules.
