Lumedyne is location lighting and portable professional flash equipment.
We offer Cyclers and the X to power other brands of flashes. And, we have a modular flash system that has a proven track record of being a highly reliable source of light for professional photographers for over 45 years.
To build a full flash system, you wil need a Power Pack, a Flash Head, a Battery and a Charger. Some added cables and accessories might be a great addition and you need to trigger the system with a radio or light slave or a sync cord.
We have photographers on staff to answer your questions, so give us a call and let us help you create your own perfect lighting solution for on location.
The ABRA replaces the normal Lumedyne reflector and has a mounting plate that allows the use of any Bowens™ style reflector or accessories. It has a 1/4-20 mounting point to keep the weight of large light modifiers off of the plastic body of the Lumedyne Heads.
There is a spring clip to lock the Bowens™ style reflector/accessory in place.
If you want to build your own extra large battery this enclosure is 5.75 inches tall outside. It has the right connector to attach to the Lumedyne Power Packs. It has the keeper clips for the Pack's latches. It has a simple DC charge jack of 2.1mm by 5mm and a charging LED but no further charge control circuit or PEPI. No battery or charger is included
The AR12 is a 12 inch Beautydish reflector that has a center deflector that blocks the light coming directly from the flashtube. That creates a softer looking image without the normal specularity of a small flash.
In addition to being 12 inches across the front and thus more than four times bigger than the normal reflector, it also includes a cloth diffuser for an even softer look.
Lastly, a grid is included that snaps into the front of the reflector and limits the light output to less than 50 degrees.
This adapter connects Bowens™ S Mount style reflectors and accessories to the front of the Extra Small Flash Heads. The Signature Heads can also be adapted to use this mount by getting a new face plate.
It has a lock to hold the reflector in place and a 1/4-20 mount for the lightstand so that there is no added stress to the Flash Head regardless of the size of the light modifier used.
This square softbox speed ring is made of plastic and surrounds a machined aluminum center neck that replaces the Lumedyne reflector so the flashtube is well inside the back of the softbox.
It has a 1/4-20 threaded mount to use directly on the lightstand or with a swivel so even large square and rectangular softboxes can be used. The Flash Head is hanging onto the rear at the reflector mount but without any leverage or weight on it.
This is a super simple way to extend the Flashtube only into very small spaces and have any amount of power that you want from the bare bulb without the bulky Flash Head body that can be hidden up to about five feet away.
The HFTX Cable plugs into the flashtube socket and has a female flashtube socket at the small end for the actual flashtube to use. It can fit with Modeling Heads but does not extend or use the modeling bulb at all.
AFTE Flashtubes fit all of the existing Lumedyne Flash Heads with or without the modeling light feature. They also fit in the new Extra Small Heads. They can be used at low power as well but should not be used above 800ws per Head as that is the upper rating of this flashtube's performance.
The Flashtubes push/pull straight in/out and they will last for tens of thousands of flashes or one face down fall onto a hard surface.
Any of the Heads can use this flashtube, however, the modeling lamp itself is separate and this flashtube does not convert a non-modeling Head to have that feature.
These colorful fabric covers are designed to fit any five to six inch reflectors and use elastic to stay on the front of the reflector. They cast a very even and smooth broadcast of colored light due to the thin cloth diffusion material. The colors can be seen in the photo as all kits are the same selection.
If you want to build your own small battery this enclosure is 1.5 inches tall outside. It has the right connector to attach to the Lumedyne Power Packs. It has the keeper clips for the Pack's latches. It has a simple DC charge jack of 2.1mm by 5mm and a charging LED but no further charge control circuit or PEPI. No battery or charger is included
